How a DOT collection works with us
Your employee is tested on a Federal Drug Testing Custody and Control Form, with a split specimen sealed in front of them. Specimens ship to a HHS-certified laboratory, and results go through a Medical Review Officer before they reach you.
For alcohol, our collectors carry evidential breath testing devices and follow the DOT screening and confirmation sequence, including the 15-minute wait before a confirmation test.
You receive the results, the paperwork you need for your files, and a collector who followed the same procedure whether the test happened at noon or at 3 a.m.
